Hope For a Better Life Every Day

by Jeremiah, Santa Clara

I hope for a better life every day, hope my life would change and the people in my life would appreciate me for the lifestyle I live. It’s not my fault I became who I am. I had to raise myself, learn the hard way and take care of my siblings. Life is hard and every day I hope life gets better. I hope I can separate myself from negativity instead of being a part of it.

I want to be able to have a happy life with my baby girl, stop living in a fake world where everybody really don’t give a F about you. It’s trying to meet the same wanna-be people that act like something they’re not. Just all kinds of lap-riders that put up a front.

I hope eventually I can leave and start positive but that starts when I’m willing to change. Really hoping sometime my mindset will change too, so I can show my younger sister and brother and nieces and nephews a great life is the way to live.

Negativity, bad influences, stupid people don’t get you nothing but back luck, bad experiences, and a bad reputation. I hope at least my experiences in life can be an example to show my younger family that there’s nothing but fake love out here. People rather see you die than on your feet, surviving.

I hope and pray to keep striving for better and for me and my girl to move out of San Jose and move far to live happily, to start a family and live like we thought of living when we were just kids.

By the way, I graduated! There was a lot of hope for that and a lot of support from my wife! There’s a lot to keep hoping for and to keep achieving.
