“I truly believe that building bridges not building walls and not giving into fear will make our communities better.” Charles Barkley
I like this quote and agree with it because, from experience, having connections and building bridges gives you more opportunities. We need to help each other and not tear each other down. That helps our communities build bridges to be better.
We can all be so selfish and so segregated that we don’t build those bridges but build walls. Personally, I like to build bridges and have those connections, so I can be able to have those helping hands and more business opportunities. Building those bridges and making connections can be way more useful for other things as well.
Giving into fear will prevent and stop you from reaching for something better and block potential bridges you could have built. You can’t let that fear block you off from doing something great. I have burnt bridges.
Some I tried rebuilding and others stayed burned. Some were for petty stuff and others major. At the end of the day, it’s what you try to do with it and what you learned from those so called losses.
There have been times I let fear get in the way of certain opportunities, but I don’t regret not doing it. There’s always that, what if?
